व्यावसायिक विकास समूह (बीडीजी)
अधिदेश
व्यावसायिक विकास समूह (बीडीजी) उद्योग और वैज्ञानिक समुदाय के बीच एक अन्तरफलक (इंटरफेस) के रूप में कार्य करता है, जिसका उद्देश्य उद्योगों को उनकी तकनीकी समस्याओं का समाधान करने में मदद करना है। बीडीजी सीएसआईआर-एनपीएल की प्रौद्यौगिकी/ तकनीकी जानकारी के प्रदर्शन और इच्छुक ग्राहकों को उन्हें हस्तांतरित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है। समूह इसके अलावा समयबद्ध परियोजनाओं के रूप में ग्राहकों (सरकारी/सार्वजनिक/अनुसंधान एवं विकास/निजी क्षेत्र आदि)) को अनुबंधित अनुसंधान एवं विकास, परामर्श और तकनीकी सेवाएं प्रदान करने की सुविधा भी प्रदान करता है। इसके अलावा, समूह इच्छुक उद्योगों और अनुसंधान संगठनों के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन/एमओए/एनडीए आदि पर हस्ताक्षर करवाने का भी ध्यान रखता है।
